I’ve traveled through Virginia countless times on road trips to South Carolina and Florida. But the only time I really researched and planned out a (last minute!) trip to Virginia was when my husband Jason wanted to try out Buc-ee’s (yes, the gas station).

It turns out, the nearest Buc-ee’s to us was a 7 hour drive to Virginia… Doable, but not really worth it. Until, that is, I saw that it was right near Shenandoah National Park. Now that I would say is worth the drive (mostly just to get my pin for my NP pin collection!) (And my sticker for my new water bottle Jason got in honor of the trip…).
