As a Jane Austen fan, the city of Bath in England has long been on my bucket list. But after watching the latest season of Bridgerton and seeing my social media blow up with Bridgerton Bath locations, I knew I had to visit ASAP.
Aaaand I had to buy a new dress. For promenading (I “accidentally” bought two…).
- Shop my Bridgerton dresses:
- White floral dress with lace up corset I wore on a stroll through Prior Park.
- Pink cottage core dress I wore on a promenade around the Royal Crescent.
So here is your complete guide to all the Bridgerton filming locations in Bath. And you can also read my guide to Bridgerton locations in London (including a themed afternoon tea that I loved!). Or Jane Austen places in Bath, if that’s more your thing (or both!).
Bridgerton Filming Locations in Bath, UK
Of all the Bridgerton filming locations around the UK, you’ll find the most in the city of Bath. It’s actually a very common filming location for period pieces because of the classic architecture and historic character it still retains.
While the first several seasons primarily filmed on location in Bath, the show has actually become too popular now to keep filming in Bath, so most of season 4 was filmed on set in a studio. The set designs were modeled after the real life locations in Bath.
Bridgerton Walking Tour of Bath
While some places I visited on my own, you will see most of these sites on a guided walking tour of Bath. You can definitely visit all of them on your own, but I do suggest joining a walking tour, as it’s relatively inexpensive, and it’s a fun way to hear inside stories you wouldn’t otherwise learn.
And (apparently) it’s a fun way to win chocolate! Because, for the record, I “won” the Bridgerton trivia game our tour guide made up as we went, and I got a giant chocolate bar (which I then ate for dinner…). And yes, I am proud of that (the winning part, not the eating it for dinner part)!

The Best Bridgerton Locations to Visit in Bath
There are so many Bridgerton filming locations in Bath. I am going to touch on the lesser known locations as well, but the first section of this list is going to include the very best Bridgerton Bath locations to visit, whether you’re on a walking tour or on your own.
- Looking for somewhere to stay in Bath:
- I stayed at the Royal Hotel, directly across the street from the train station. It was the perfect location!
The Royal Crescent

I also donned this period necklace I got for my Bridgerton Halloween costume, and a sparkly headband from Target. 😉
I feel like the Royal Crescent is the quintessential spot for period pieces in Bath. You will see it in Jane Austen movies. And of course, right from the beginning of Bridgerton. In fact, it’s even where you will find the Featherington’s house.
The Royal Crescent is a circular row of houses at the top of the hill overlooking the city. It’s really the perfect spot for a Bridgerton (or Jane Austen) themed photo shoot.
No. 1 Royal Crescent

No. 1 Royal Crescent is (naturally) the first house you come to as you walk up the hill to the row of houses. But instead of a private residence, it’s actually a museum you can visit! So you can go inside the house and imagine what it would be like getting ready for a ball in the Assembly Rooms.
Anddd… it’s also the filming location for the Featherington House. So… as my tour guide pointed out… When Penelope waves out the door to Eloise, she’s actually waving back from 100 miles away in Greenwich (where the Bridgerton house was filmed).
- No. 1 Royal Crescent is open Tuesday-Sunday, 10 am-5:30 pm
- Tickets are £16 for adults, online or at the door.
The Holburne Museum

The front facade of the Holburne Museum is easily recognizable as Lady Danbury’s house. And in addition to seeing the outside and being able to walk around the gardens for free, you can also visit inside!
The museum houses an art gallery and a lovely coffee shop that opens onto the back gardens. They also host various events and workshops throughout the week, so it really is one of the best things to do in Bath.
Directly across from the museum is Great Pulteney Street, which can also be seen on screen in Bridgerton.
- The Holburne Museum is open 10 am-5 pm Monday-Saturday
- They are open 11 am-5 pm Sundays and holidays
- Tickets are £18.50 (including fees) for adults
- Wednesdays after 3 pm are free
- The last Friday of the month is free
Abbey Green Square

The Abbey Green is one of the cutest spots in Bath! So naturally it is a popular Bridgerton (and other shows) filming location!
This square is the location of the Giant Plane Tree, and is just off of Kingston Parade square, in front of Bath Abbey. Multiple Bridgerton scenes were shot here, including the well-known Modiste shop:
- The Modiste Shop
- Eloise and Penelope strolling through the market
- Simon getting thrown out of a bar
- Anthony knocking on Siena’s door
The Abbey Deli-The Modiste Shop

Located in the Abbey Green square, just across from Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths is The Abbey Deli. It’s a cute little cafe that has gone all in on its Bridgerton fame. I didn’t get a chance to eat here, because there are just too many cute coffee shops and afternoon tea spots in Bath (seriously, I would love to come back and just sit around eating cake and drinking tea all day long…).
But it is super cute and their menu looks delicious. You can also pop in just to buy some of their “Modiste” themed souvenirs, so definitely check it out when you’re in the area.
- The Abbey Deli is open daily, 9:30 am-4:30 pm.
- They serve breakfast, lunch and pastries.
- You can also book a spot for afternoon tea.
The Circus

The Bath Circus is very similar to the Royal Crescent, but also totally its own thing…
Described as an “inverted Colosseum,” the Circus is a complete circle (the Royal Crescent is only a half circle) consisting of three groups of houses facing each other, with a small park in the middle. Apparently Nick Cage owned a house here. Briefly. One of many.
Like the Royal Crescent, the Circus is used as a backdrop for period appropriate city scenes.
Prior Park Landscape Garden

Oh! And it has pockets!
Prior Park Landscape Garden is the only Bridgerton Bath location that’s not actually right within the city of Bath itself. It is still possible to walk here though, or get here via public transportation. Just be aware that, although it is a park, it is run by the National Trust, and is not open 24/7 (which I realized after walking 20 minutes uphill only to arrive at a locked gate…).
If you’re walking from the city centre, you’ll want to go to the lower entrance (via Church Lane), which is where the Prior Park NT Cafe is. It’s about a 25 minute walk (uphill) from the train station (walking directions from the train station).
You can also take a bus from the city to the main entrance. Take the No. 2 bus from Dorchester St. to Prior Park Landscape Garden.
- Prior Park is open 10 am-4 pm daily in the spring/summer/fall
- It is only open 10 am-3 pm on weekends in the winter.
- Tickets are £12, and can be purchased at either entrance.

Lesser Known Bridgerton Filming Locations in Bath
Those are (in my opinion) the best spots to visit for Bridgerton fans in Bath. However, here are some other locations that we passed by on our walking tour.
N. Parade Street Buildings

There is actually a placard on the door here that says “Bridgerton House” (which, to be clear does not mean it is the filming location of “Bridgerton House,” but that it was a house used in Bridgerton).
This is a quiet little street hidden away from all the main sites just beyond it. It is where Anthony comes to visit Siena in season 1, and unfortunately (or not), gets turned away.
Bath Street

This secret(ish) side street off of the main jaunt is used in many outdoor scenes in Bridgerton. It’s most notably recognized as the street where Simon (that is… the Duke of Hastings) makes his first entrance in season one. The street is perfectly picturesque and worth a wander.
12 Trim Street

12 Trim Street seems like the perfect location for… well, a trim. And that’s exactly what it is: a hair salon!
On screen, however, it’s used as an ice cream shop (in both season one and two). The owners have even set a little table and chairs outside like an ice cream shop would have.
The good news is… while you can’t enjoy an ice cream here, there are plenty of ice cream shops in town. So you can grab a cone and wander on up to Trim Street for a picture.
Beauford Square

If you keep going past 12 Trim Street, you come to a beautiful house on Beauford Square with a large fence out front. This is the street where Eloise and Penelope walk down in season one, contemplating how one comes to be “with child…”
Duke’s Hotel

The Duke’s Hotel is just off of Pulteney Street, which leads to the Holburne Museum and has been featured in every season. This particular building though, is featured in season three (and would be a great place to stay for a Bridgerton themed trip to Bath!).
Assembly Rooms
Unfortunately the Assembly Rooms have been closed to the public for several years. The fortunate part is that they are working on reopening them as (what sounds like) a super fun experience. I guess I will just have to go back to Bath again (and live out my dream of eating cake all day long…).
Anyway, the Assembly Rooms, as anyone familiar with Jane Austen would know, are the location for many an evening ball. Which means they were the perfect place to film many an evening ball for Bridgerton.
- Good to Know: The Bath Assembly Rooms plan to reopen to the public sometime in 2027.
Other Bridgerton Locations to Visit

Aside from Bath, the best place to visit for Bridgerton locations is London. I spent the rest of my week in (and around) London after my two days in Bath, trying to see as many Bridgerton London locations as possible!
Here you will find filming locations for palaces, weddings, London streets, and of course, the famous Bridgerton family home. You can also have a Bridgerton themed afternoon tea, which was quite possibly my favorite thing ever!

There are plenty of other Bridgerton filming locations across the UK, but I think London and Bath and the best places to visit. Plus there are so many other things to do in London and Bath while you’re there!
- Be sure to pack a copy of one of these gorgeous books to read on your trip!
